Privacy

Someta makes the math instruments on this site. We also make Sage, an AI tutor, and Socrato, an AI instrument guide. This page says what this site (someta.app) collects and what we do with it.

What we collect

• When you send the Let's connect form: what you type in it (your name, your email, your program or school, your role, what would help most, and any answers you add), and which of our links brought you, if one did.
• When you open an instrument: which instrument, when, which of our links brought you, if one did, and a random code your browser makes up the first time, so we can tell when the same browser comes back. The code is made from nothing about you, and nothing else about you is sent with it.
• In your browser: a few small notes the site keeps there: the instruments you've opened, so it can mark them for you, that random code, and which of our links brought you. Clearing your browser's data for this site removes them.
• Like any website: the companies that host the site and serve its typeface see the usual details of a visit, like your IP address.

The instruments never ask for a name, and there's no sign up. The site has no ads and no cookies, and nothing on it follows you to other sites.

What we do with it

We use what you send in the form to write back to you, to follow up on what you asked about, and, if you asked for it, to tell you about new instruments. We use the instrument openings to see which instruments get used, so we know what to build next.

We don't sell any of it, and we don't share it with anyone for advertising.

Your choices

You can ask us what we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email zach@someta.app.

Some browsers send a Do Not Track signal. The site doesn't change what it does when it gets one, and it doesn't follow you to other sites.

Students

Students can use every instrument without giving a name or anything else about themselves. The Let's connect form is for adults. If you're under 13, please ask a parent or teacher to reach us instead.

Sage

Sage, our AI tutor, runs on its own site, sage.someta.app. This page covers this site (someta.app).

Changes

If this page changes, we'll post the new version here, with a new date at the top.
